Exit the now old-school 525i and 525xi, and enter the new 230 hp 528i and 528xi. Similarly, say goodbye to the 530i and 530xi, and say hello to the new inline-six, 300 hp N54 twin-turboed 535i and 535xi. In fact, the only designation seeing a decease in numbers-in-name seems to be the old 290 hp V8 540i sports wagon that's now been renamed 535xi.
