BMW announced 2006 pre-tax profits of more than £2.7 billion, with revenues up to a record of £33 billion. The group sold 1.37 million vehicles last year.M1 would accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.2sec and would reach a top speed of 175mph if derestricted.
