Automakers Rally US Citizens to Oppose Higher Fuel Economy Standards
In a shameless maneuver, an automotive trade group representing BMW, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Porsche,Toyota and Volkswagen has launched a million dollar public relations campaign to convince the American public to lobby on their behalf and convince Congress to oppose an increase in fuel economy standards.
