Next generation BMW X3 SUV to be built in the US
According to German newspaper Financial Times Deutschland, the next generation BMW X3 will be built at the Spartanburg, South Carolina plant. BMW
’s CEO, Norbert Reithofer, stated that he wants production at the Spartanburg plant to rise from 105,000 to 200,000 units in order to protect itself against fluctuating exchange rates.
