Phil's Trip

Phil I did it....! Ok calling all auto track junkies. We were at VIR for an HPDE weekend. Phil's radiator hose blew off. Phil's off track tour started at the entry to the uphill esses. Phil was going approximately 100mph. Phil and his instructor survived less a few select undergarmets. Phil cracked his front rotors. Phil bought some new cryogenically frozen rotors. Here's a vid on our way to get them installed....

2:19 lap with 2 M Coupes on VIR Full Course

Mar 3-4 2007 BMW HPDE at VIR. Sunday afternoon and nearly open track with another M Coupe for the entire session. This is our fastest lap (not necessarily the cleanest), coming in under 2:20.

Z3 Coupe Parade

HPDE at VIR 3-4 March. Four BMW Z3 Coupes (3 MZ3 and 1 Z3 coupe) lined up on the grid in Advanced group. Unfortunately had a little accident with the zoom button so I apologize for the extreme close-up. The coupes ran well in our moment of glory, but we were eventually reeled in by a C-Mod racer - an original BMW Motorsport LW race car with a newly built Euro 3.2L and full carbon fiber shell.
