Tachometer Test

Put enough miles on and you come to appreciate comfort and reliability over the long haul. But when a nice ribbon of asphalt opens up, it's time to test the tachometer. As the high-octane offspring of BMW's best sport and touring concepts, the BMW R1200ST motorcycle offers both premium comfort and plenty of power.

Old Canadian custom BSA, Triumph and Harleys.

When looking at choppers as a racer we must consider if done right the engine will be a bit over the edge and maybe one day wind up in a retro street fighter or cafe bike. The HD FLH is the most compact custom I have ever seen in 27 years of gawking at bikes of all kinds.

Ride Adventure

The BMW R1200GS motorcycle answers the call of the wild with a 100 blazing horses. The Boxer engine also produces 85 lb/ft of torque, giving it serious grunt as well. The Telelever front suspension keeps road rides smooth and a reliable shaft drive means your odometer will spin around like a slot machine. Whether it's bombing down fire roads or ripping around the twisties and snacking on unsuspecting sport bikes, one thing's for sure: the BMW R1200GS motorcycle devours any road you throw at it.
